The Polokwane SPCA Charity Shop at Savannah Mall has moved to a larger store on the upper level opposite Woolworths.
Shop assistant Tumisho Mogale said the previous store had become too small to properly display all the goods for sale.
“Now we have enough space, but not enough shelves or tables to display our goods,” he explained. They also have need of some carpeting or tiles as the store they have moved to has a bare, concrete floor.
The charity shop depends on donations for their stock and Mogale said there is always a buyer for whatever item they may have. “We always need new donations of stock. We sell clothes, books, shoes, ornaments, DVDs, PC games and even sweets.” He added that a lot of the clothes they stock are of top quality and barely worn.
The proceeds of their sales go to the Polokwane SPCA. Anyone interested in assisting in any way can contact Mogale on 071 512 7878 or the Polokwane SPCA on 015 291 1088.
