16-year-old Ace model signed up as international runway model

Life will never be the same for 16-year-old Polokwane model Michelle Fox thanks to being signed up as an international runway model by Ice Model Management through her local agency, Ace Models Limpopo.
While she was already signed up a month ago, the official announcement was only made on Monday and Ace Models Limpopo owner, Jacqueline Ferns expressed her delight and satisfaction at the result of all the hard work Michelle has put in since joining the Ace Models Limpopo stable in January.
“Michelle is our first model to be signed up for an international runway modeling contract and the fact that Ice Model Management is the largest agency nationally makes it even more of an achievement,” she told Polokwane Observer on Monday shortly after the official announcement was made.
Michelle, who is currently in Grade 10 at Hoërskool Pietersburg, now has a life of fashion weeks and other international runway modeling shows to look forward to.
Her role model is Rolene Strauss, Miss South Africa and Miss World 2014, and she says she is working towards entering and winning Miss South Africa in future. She also aims to become a Victoria’s Secret model and says she believes she will be able to do so. She has an enormous love for animals and would like to study to become a veterinarian. “One of the reasons I would love to be Miss South Africa is that it would be an amazing platform for me to do as much as I can for animal conservation,” she says, mentioning rhinos as an example.
Speaking about her new modeling contract, Michelle said it feels like a dream that has come true. “I am terribly excited and can’t wait to work with Ice Model Management.”
She said it had taken a lot of hard work with Ferns to get to international level before it was decided that she was good enough to be presented to Ice Model Management. “It was a big surprise when I heard I had been signed by them. I would never have been able to do it without God’s power and mercy and I know He will lead me on the right path and always give me the energy to go on because without Him I am nothing,” Michelle said. “Hard work is always rewarded and I am ready to work for everything I want,” she concluded.
