Klaas will be the envy on the road in his new Gusheshe

Powerplay hosted a competition last weekend at the Seshego Circle Centre and Klaas Legodi was announced as the lucky winner.

POLOKWANE – One lucky winner had the opportunity to slide behind the wheel of a custom Gusheshe valued at R483 000, becoming the envy of all his friends.

The 31-year-old from Ga-Maja was over the moon with excitement as it was the first competition he entered.

“When I received the call informing me that I had won I thought it was a scam at first. Soon I came to realise this was no scam, it was a dream come true,” said Legodi.

Well-known TV personality and actor, Thato Molamu, was the host for the event and he had guests thoroughly entertained. The prize handover was done by one of Africa’s finest DJs, Themba Mbongeni Euphonik Nkosi. Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa District Manager Limpopo, Joe Ramokoto, said this is an annual competition, adding they plan to start another competition called Cara Cara (Caravella promotion) to encourage consumers to buy Powerplay energy drinks.

“We make sure that we excite our consumers with regard to our energy drink category. Through these types of events we want to make sure our consumers get connected to our brand. “We are involved in community upliftment pro- grammes. We are involved with various projects within the community such as recycling to ensure our villages are kept clean. Through these initiatives we encourage everyone to live a healthy lifestyle and protect the environment.”
