Passionate about giving back to the community, Chef Radis Cookout Crew will be cooking up a special treat for the underprivileged youth from Mankweng, Unit D on Saturday, 21 July.

POLOKWANE – “Part of our mission and goal as a organisation is to help build communities and those in need. No child should go to bed on an empty stomach is a Ubuntu campaign that we are trying to get off the ground and push to encourage the community to help one another where they can. We do this annually to show activeness in this campaign and also to try and urge other local chefs to do likewise. It is about touching lives and making life bearable for those who face extreme challenges in life, ” explained Self-taught chef, Radifadi Pontsho Mamabolo.

Pontsho together with two of his cooking teammates, Cynthia Muvhango and Lesiba Legodi, will cook up a tantalising meal while Tsogashoma Ice,  Kagishano ke lesedi and The EASE  Club will entertain the children.

“We invite the local residents to join us at the Mphata lefoko drop in centre in the spirit of giving back to the community and continuing with the legacy of Tata Nelson Mandela who always sought to put other people’s needs first,” Pontsho concluded.
