POLOKWANE – Girls from around the city took a shot at becoming the next Miss Top Model South Africa Limpopo when they participated in the official regionals at Classy Lifestyle Centre Polokwane on 21 July.

The pageant was organised by Limpopo Beauty Modelling Academy founder and Pageant Director, Katryn Barwise-Celliers through which she wants to give models in Limpopo an opportunity to represent their province and country through an online modelling competition.

Categories:

• Flawless – girls aged from four to seven and eight to 11 years.

• Teen – girls aged from 12 to 15 years.

• Fresh Face – girls aged from 16 to 24 years.

Height should be from 1,67 m to 1,72 m tall and not bigger than size 34, hips maximum 91 cm.

• Top Model SA Limpopo – girls aged from 16 to 24 years. Models should be taller than 1,73 m and a size 34 or smaller.

Dressed to impress, the entrants came ready to dazzle the judges with their walk, confidence and their overall look.

The finalists weren’t announced during the pageant, but will be announced later in the week.

All the finalists will compete in the finalé on Saturday, 25 August at the Classy Lifestyle Centre in Polokwane and the winners will represent Limpopo at Carnival City in Gauteng during the Miss Top Model South Africa national competition in February.

Katryn believes in the talent Limpopo has to offer and ensure they stand a fare chance she is offering a free modelling workshop worth R1 000 to help the winners prepare for the Top Model South Africa competition. As part of the prizes, the winners will also get a free Kiley Kreations Photography studio photo shoot for their entry photos worth R700.

“You could get signed with big agencies and the winner of Top Model SA will represent the country in London, UK,” Katryn said.
