Stylish DJ and K’zela to rock Polokwane during the 1st Annual DJ Turn Up Festival

POLOKWANE – With the aim of exposing the community of Tibane to national artists and to promote aspiring local artists, 015 Global Productions and Letiqa Twins Trading presents the 1st Annual K’zela and Stylish Dj’s Turn Up Festival (#KSTurnUpFestival). The vibey day/night festival will take place on Tuesday, 25 December at Tibane Stadium in Ga-Matlala from 15:00 till late.

Your MC’s for the night will be Mr Gab from Capricorn FM, Wils Dee from Radio Turf and entertainer Sir Jovial.

Marketing Manager Khutso Mabokela tells Review that with the event, they hope to take the step of music festival resurgence, particularly in semi-rural areas. “Subsequently, we hope that this event will motivate young upcoming artists in these areas so that they should work even harder as local artists to represent their province,” she said. Khutso further explains that the event’s headliners will include King Monada, who is currently taking the world by storm with his #IdibalaChallenge, made popular by his latest single titled Malwede.

“Another massive headliner for this event is Da Capo, an internationally renowned house music DJ, who has worked with popular DJ, record producer and singer-songwriter Black Coffee,” she added. More well-known and big artists such as Mlindo the Vocalist will be rocking and headlining the #KSTurnUpFestival. Mlindo the Vocalist’s single Amablesser, will serenade the crowd with his smooth Afrocentric sound. Other headliners include the event’s hosts, versatile house music DJ’s and Producers, The Greastest Duo, K’zela & Stylish DJ.

“The duo has seen their music being released by various record labels in the world such as Nick Holder’s DNH Records (Canada, Toronto), Gallo Records, BGMP, House Afrika, 4Billion Records and Aluku Records (UK), just to mention a few,” Khutso said.

More popular artists that will hit the stage are; Problem Child, Darque, Dj Katapila (Kat from Skeem Saam), Alphatik, Dindy, G-Washington, Phonetic, French Champagne, Shuffle Beatz, Lady Shiks, Fusion Deep, Dj Embassy, Divine Dance Crew, Dj Zino, Mike T, King Maestro, Refelective Del Mar, Baisel, El Fuego, Saltonik, Juju, Da Calo, LekkerSweet and last but not least Saxophone.

“The event is expected to draw in thousands of music fans from all over South Africa.

Ticket sales are available at Computicket, Shoprite/Checkers. General tickets costs R200 each, R250 at the gate, VIP tickets costs R400 and VVIP costs R1500 which is also available at the venue.

Drinks will be sold at the venue and no bottles allowed. Cooler boxes/bags (with cans) will be allowed inside before 18:00 for R100 for entrance.
