Play around with colours and traditional prints to find the perfect match
Fashion designer, Tshepo Mahlo says traditional attire is worn best with a partner, because they look more stylish when the couples match.
POLOKWANE – “Traditional attire looks more appealing when the outfits are matching. Most people prefer attending events, especially weddings, with matching outfits, this is where the traditional patterns pop and all eyes will be on you at the event,” Tshepo said.

He adds that when a woman is wearing a beautiful traditional outfit, the man’s outfit stands out because the outfits will complement each other. “The nice thing about traditional attire is that nowadays traditional clothes are modernised into fashionable styles, and that’s why you see a lot of people wearing matching outfits when attending events,” he added.
