Combine neon with nude to make it less intense. The secret to not have something become overpowering is to have a stable neutral colour to ease its intensity. This also applies to nails, create contrast by having a nude colour play against the neon. Have neon colours as an outline to your nail design.
“This is a great way to incorporate neon but also a way to make sure that the colour is not too extreme. It will still be enough to catch just the right amount of attention without feeling ‘too much’ for the eye,” said Caroline.
The braver person can go for gradient nails. These are nails that look similar to ombré nails, the nails are divided at the centre, but where you would have similar colours on ombré nails, you have the pass to go crazy with nail colour on gradient nails.
Another way to play with neon is on what was formerly known as a white French tip. “You can do the classic French tip but instead of white or cream coloured tips, go wild with bright neon colours,” she added.
