Charlie’s Angels will leave viewes gasping

POLOKWANE – Heading to Mall of the North for the Girlfriend’s Getaway prescreening of Charlie’s Angels, I’m curious to know what I am about to watch. The movie is directed by Elizabeth Banks will be released today, 15 November. Bonus attended the pre screening at Ster Kinekor at Mall of the North on 13 November.
The movie started off a bit slow for me and at times it felt predictable but then again, I also predicted the plot incorrectly. The characters are complete rocksters and it in some ways resembles the original Charlie’s Angels that we know from back in the days of Cameron Diaz who is channelled by Kristen Stewart playing the rebellious angel, Drew Barrymore is channeled by Naomi Scott playing the intellect who is not the typical superhero and then there’s Ella Balinska who channels Lucy Lu’s kickass break down doors and ask questions later persona.
It’s an action packed movie that is suitable for the whole family to watch. It has a plot twist that might leave people gasping and the girl power aspect of the movie is empowering and leaves you hich leaves youand might leave many girls being proud to be female.
