The annual Club Day that was hosted at Mall of the North over the weekend provided an opportunity for shoppers to explore a variety of activities on offer by clubs, associations and other after-school activity centres.
Colourful static displays were located at Game Court, followed by live demonstrations by trainers and club members in the foyer of Edgars at noon on Saturday. Models also showcased the latest trends in the fashion world in the windows of some of the adjacent shops.
Shoppers, and in particular parents, took the opportunity to learn more about clubs and centres offering extra-curricular activities such as dancing, martial arts, golf, gymnastics and ballet.
Marketing Manager of Mall of the North, Mari Delport said that the event served to promote the activities of the clubs and centres, but also provided an opportunity to showcase talent. “It is the second year that we host the event and are delighted by the level of interest shown by the public,” Delport said.
