Community celebrated at Mall of the North

Mall of the North has shown their commitment towards the community of Polokwane again when mall management invited all sports clubs, dance schools, modelling agencies, beauty schools, educational enrichment centres and other entities that offer extra curricular activities to join the mall’s Club Day on Saturday.
Exhibitors showed off their special interests and pursuits as well as what they had to offer with beautiful and colourful displays in Edgars Court from 10:00 to 15:00.
The area was a hive of activity as shoppers, especially parents, streamed to the exhibition to find out more about each participant.
Local dance school, Vida Dança, Gym Stars gymnastics club and Fire Bird Fencing Club also gave breathtaking demonstrations that stopped shoppers in their tracks and drew thunderous applause.
Mari Delport, Marketing Manager at Mall of the North, said the aim of the Club Day was to give the community of Polokwane an opportunity to connect with people that could help make their dreams come true. “We wanted people to see the wide variety of activities that are available in the city, activities to suit all talents and interests,” she said.
Jouney Steenkamp, dance instructor and owner of Universe of Rhythm and Dance (URD) said she was delighted to see so many people at the exhibition and the high level of interest shown in each display, while Katryn Celliers, owner of Limpopo Beauty Modeling Academy, praised Mall of the North for the initiative.
Shoppers Charles Dipela and Magrit Selemela said they had a great time looking at each display and talking to each exhibitioner. “I never knew some of these clubs existed and I am very interested in signing up my children to swimming classes,” Selemela said.
