Learners of Mitchell House’s Junior Primary Phase had a taste of the Olympics when they took part in fun and games at the school’s sports fields last Friday. Head of the Junior Phase, Sue Altenroxel explained that the event was held on an informal basis with educators assisting the learners to take part in running and high jump and long jump and games that included hula-hoop walking, “We did not keep record of winners because the aim of the event was not to win, but to take part and just to enjoy the exposure,” Altenroxel said.
