Learners, parents end year on high note with dinner, carols

Erica Pre-Primary School ended the year on a high note when learners and parents were treated to a gala dinner, Biblical plays and Christmas carols during the school’s year-end function in the church building of NG Pietersburg-Noord last Thursday. The evening started with outstanding performances by 190 children who sang Christmas carols and rendered a play based on the birth of Christ before proceeding to a venue under the trees for the dinner.
Educator Marquerette le Grange explained that the learners were dressed to resemble characters from the Bible. She indicated that the celebration was to thank learners and parents for a good year and that all of the nearly 250 persons in attendance had enjoyed their get-together.
