eMzinoni woman sells stolen television

eMZINONI – The local pPolice arrested a woman after she sold a stolen television to a pawn shop in Bethal.

The television’s serial number matched the one reported to police during a housebreaking.

After the owner of the pawn shop supplied the police with the ID number of the woman who sold the television to them, she was tracked and arrested.

Const Cynthia Mtsweni, communications officer of the eMzinoni Police Station, said the police will investigate similar incidents at other pawn shops because it is believed that more stolen goods might be recovered.
