Police investigate cause of accident

The bakkie crashed through a palisade fence along the road.

BETHAL – A motorist of a Colt bakkie was seriously injured in a accident with a Toyota Quantum minibus and was admitted to Parkland Clinic in Springs on Sunday, 1 December.

Four other passengers sustained slight injuries.

The driver of the minibus was not injured.

It is alleged that the bakkie was travelling from Hendrina towards Bethal.

The driver lost control and collided with a Toyota Quantum minibus.

The bakkie crashed through a palisade fence on the side of the road.
