Thieves use homemade bombs

The liquid that comes out is boiling and may burn you.

The South African Police issued an important warning.

Thieves are putting Jeyes Fluid, tin foil and a little water in plastic drinks bottles and capping it up.

They leave it on lawns, in mail boxes, in gardens, on driveways etc., waiting for you to pick it up and put it in the rubbish bin.

If the bottle is picked up and shaken a little, it builds up enough gas in about 30 seconds or less to explode with enough force to remove some of your extremities.

The liquid that comes out is boiling and may burn you.

Do not not pick up plastic bottles that may be lying in your yards or in the gutter.

Ensure that everyone you know is informed of this.
