Former acting municipal manager dies
Mr Dipone was suspended from work and was to appeal the case on 4 November.
Mr Orapeleng Dipone, former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and acting Municipal Manager at the Lekwa Municipality, died on 28 October.
Mr Dipone was admitted to the Standerton Hospital on 27 October after complaining of a headache.
He was transferred to the Rob Ferreira Hospital in Nelspruit later that afternoon.
The South African Communist Party (SACP) organised a memorial service for him at the Thusong Centre in Sakhile on 3 November.
Mr Dipone was suspended from work and was to appeal the case on 4 November.
