Alleged serial rapist appears in court.
Sipho Nkosi will appear in the Secunda Regional Court on Thursday, 11 December.
SECUNDA – Mr Sipho Nkosi (26), alleged serial rapist, appeared in the Secunda Regional Court on Wednesday, 26 November.
He was arrested on Saturday, 23 March after an alleged rape victim (36) escaped when Mr Nkosi fell asleep and reported him to the police.
According to Capt Magonseni Nkosi, spokesman for the local police, the woman was walking when Mr Nkosi forced her to a nearby field next to the Risko Fakude Stadium and allegedly raped her and stole her cell phone.
The police found Mr Nkosi sleeping in the veld with his pants’ zipper half open and a fork next to him which he apparently used to intimidate the victim.
Six current cases from eMbalenhle and Delmas are apparently linked to him.
This case was postponed to 11 December.
