Police arrest man for being in possession of dagga
Police call on residents to report drug suppiers.
eMBALENHLE – Another man was arrested recently for being in possession of 2,61kg of dagga in Extension 18.
The police said they got information about this 55-year-old suspect and followed up on the tip.
They found dagga in a basin in his and arrested him.
Capt Magonseni Nkosi applauded the residents who are working closely with the police in tracking down drug suppliers.
He believes the battle against substance abuse and drugs will be won if suppliers are arrested.
“Drugs are killing the nation and the future of our children.
“We will do everything in our power to ensure that those who are arrested, face the harsh hand of the law.”
