Morgenzon residents in good hands
Five young men have donated food parcels to 15 disadvantaged families in Morgenzon.
Isolezwe Farming Project began operating on 1 December last year.
The group’s main focus is helping disadvantaged people in Morgenzon.
The members of the organisation donated money and bought food for less fortunate families.
They donated 15 food parcels to the families.
The group has five members: Messrs Thabo Shongwe, Sizwe Zulu, Lucky Madlala, Bhutiza Dlongolo and Jabu Hlophe.
According to Mr Hlophe they donate to the community because of the number of poverty-stricken families in their area.
“Some people are able to afford basic necessities and luxuries, but some can not afford to put food on the table,” Mr Hlophe said. They also want to provide shelter for those who do not have it.
“We want to build shacks for the people without homes,” he also said.
Mr Hlophe added that they will donate school uniforms in winter as well.
They encouraged those who have, to help those who do not have.
