SECUNDA – Three men stole a white Tata truck, a USB stick, a cell phone and a laptop during an armed robbery at the AT Fuel Reservoir at Charlie 1 on Monday, 5 January.
They pointed firearms at a security guard, tied his hands and forced him into the guard’s room near the gate.
According to Lt Bettina Zondo, spokesman of the Secunda Police, the truck was spotted in Tembisa, Gauteng.
“The police gave chase and arrested one suspect.
“Two others managed to escape,” said Lt Zondo.
“The suspect will appear in the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 29 January.
The police are investigating.
