Sanco wants employers to look locally
Sanco wants Meadow Feeds to prioritise local people when hiring.
The South African National Civic Organisation (Sanco) alleges that Meadow Feeds is not hiring local people.
They are planning to picket from 17 to 19 February and then march on 20 February.
Meadow Feeds produces a variety of specialised diets and custom feed mixes for the poultry, dairy, ostrich and swine industries.
Sanco alleges that the company has been appointing people from Delmas.
When Meadow Feeds was contacted for a comment the plant manager said he can not comment on the matter, but referred the Standerton Advertiser to their offices in Delmas.
