Possible criminal activity

Ms Wilma Coetzer of 3 Paarl Street is concerned about possible criminal activities in her own backyard after possible stolen goods were found next to a low lying wall.

There are a few flats at the back of the house, Ms Coetzer lives in one of them, and according to her they have been targeted by criminals in the past.

“My neighbour’s pet bird was stolen from his front door just the other day,” Ms Coetzer said.

“There is a low wall at the back of the house which I think criminals are using, not only to hide, as it is quite concealed, but also to stash their loot.

“I contacted the police on 31 January about possible stolen goods in the backyard, they arrived in the evening and did not have a torch and said they would return the next day, which they did not.”
