Sanco engages companies

Sanco wants companies, based in Standerton, to employ local people.

The South African National Civic Organisation (Sanco) had a meeting with Meadow Feeds and presented their requests on 27 January.

The organisation wants the company to prioritise local people when hiring, prioritise small businesses as well as give back to the community.

According to Mr Nicholas Selepe, Sanco Lekwa zonal convener, the company will look into what they can do.

“They are investigating to bring projects, managed in other towns, to this town,” Mr Selepe said.

He also said they will have a programme on the planned projects.

Sanco also engaged Eskom about the same issues.
