EVANDER – Police members recently arrested these two men for the possession of dagga.
Messrs Peter Asani and Thabiso Motaung appeared in the Secunda Magistrate’s Court and their case was postponed for investigation.
According to Sgt Sibusiso Mbuli, communications officer of Evander Police, they did not pitch up for their second court hearing.
The police asked the community to be on the look out for any activities of crime.
“Dagga is a big problem in our community and we should stand together to fight this crime,” said Sgt Mbuli.
Several successful arrests for the possession of dagga were recently made and the police thanked the community for their cooperation.
