Stolen illegal cigarattes recovered in Lebohang
Estimated street value is R130 000.
LEBOHANG – Police recovered about 1 000 cartons of illegal cigarettes recently.
It is alleged that the cigarettes were stolen from the vehicle that was transporting them.
The police got a lead that the cigarettes were hidden in a house in the area.
They responded and discovered 13 boxes of Pacific cigarettes to an estimated street value of R130 000.
No one was arrested and the police are still investigating.
W/O Khuselwa Matrouse, police spokesman, asked residents for any information they might have.
