KINROSS- The community of Kinross experienced a water crisis during the past few weeks.
Water shortage was due to damaged water pipes caused by MTN company when installing their own cables under ground.
The most affected was the clinic and schools.
Some schools released pupils early because they could not cope with children not being able to use toilets.
The water was opened at night and closed again in the morning without informing the public.
Ridge Times tried several times to get hold of Hendry Masango who is the spokesperson for Govan Mbeki municipality without any luck.
Kinross area councillor Dan Nhlapo was then contacted and he confirmed that the problem was solved.
