Roads looking a “hole” lot better

The Lekwa Municipality has been hard at work attending to the bad conditions of our roads in town.
Numerous intersections have been fixed and ongoing repairs to potholes have been visible since the beginning of the year.
After the Standerton Advertiser published an article about Coligny Street, which motorists had to negotiate like a rally track at the time, the municipality has since filled the potholes.
The intersection of Princess and Vry Street was in such a bad shape a few months ago that motorists used an alternative route to avoid it.
Now the intersection is as good as new.
Paarl Street has also been attended to with the potholes that have been filled up.
