eMBALENHLE – Alleged lovers were found shot dead in a rented room in Extension 18 recently.
Neighbours heard noises and gun shots during the night and the landlord went to investigate the next morning.
Looking through a window, he saw a man and a woman lying on the floor and he called the police.
A 29-year-old woman was found naked with multi gunshot wounds and the 37-year-old man was half naked and had one shot wound to the head.
The police are investigating.
Capt Magonseni Nkosi, police spokesman, urged anyone who might have any information to come forward.
He also appealed to owners of firearms to safeguard their firearms.
He said the police also concerned about the circulation of firearms.
Capt Nkosi applauded the residents who helped in recovering the firearms.
