Coca Cola truck loses crates when avoiding potholes

Many accidents happen at this T-junction because of the bad condition of the road.

EMBALENHLE – A truck loaded with Coca Cola bottles lost control while trying to avoid a head-on collision with another truck in the Mandela Section on Saturday, 7 March at about 1pm.

“The wheels went off the road and the truck lost its balance,” said the driver who pointed at the pothole-riddled road.

A witness, Mr Siyanda Joloza, said many accidents happen at the same T-junction because of the bad condition of the road.

Motorists who work in Brendan Village and Osizweni and Megabus use the same road every day and spend lots of money on replacing their tyres and on wheel alignment.
