Make use of Lebohang Library

Youth should refrain from burning libraries during protests.

LEANDRA – Lebohang Library host the Govan Mbeki Municipal Libraries project during the launch of Library Week on Friday, 13 March.

Library Week is aimed at promoting the use of libraries and the services offered by libraries.

The following services are offered by libraries: study facilities, community and general information, reference facilities, internet and computer facilities, a photocopying facilities, assistance with school projects, magazines and newspapers, books and mobile library service.

Some libraries also offer, Unisa and Gert Sibande College material, fax services, typing aids for the visually impaired, activities and auditorium rooms for hire.

“Library Week is fine-free week and we urge library users with outstanding books to return them,” said Ms Rosina Mosako from the Lebohang Library.

Mr Jabulani Nkosi who was speaking on behalf of parents, asked the youth not to burn libraries during protests.
