eMzinoni residents are up in arms about service delivery
Protesters demand that executive mayor be fired.
eMZINONI – Thousand of angry protesters led by Sanco marched to the Bethal Town Hall to hand over a memorandum.
The protest is aimed at voicing residents’ outrage over poor service delivery and evictions in the area.
They want Ms Lindi Masina, executive mayor, removed from her position, because she fails to meet their needs.
The police said the protest began early this morning and that protesters burnt tyres and blocked the roads.
No property has not yet been damaged.
