Driver escapes serious injury

A vehicle ended up on its side on the Volksrust Road about one kilometre out of Standerton on 24 June.

According to traffic officers the driver was transported to the Standerton Hospital with minor injuries.

Traffic could not move in both directions for more than an hour as the emergency service cleared the road.
