Thabani Buyani Mathenjwa (21) was sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment on Thursday, 16 July.
He appeared in the Evander Regional Court.
The case was opened in December 2013 after a victim bumped the fence of the accused with his car and when he went to apologise, the accused lost his temper, jumped the fence and began to kick the victim until he was unconscious.
The victim was taken to a hospital by neighbours where he later died.
W/O Caiphus Sekhukhune investigated the case and apprehended Mathenjwa.
