Mozambican killed after car broke down

A 34-year-old Mozambican was killed and his car radio stolen recently.

eMBALENHLE – A 34-year-old Mozambican was killed and his car radio stolen recently.

It is alleged that the deceased was at home when he received a call from a friend who told him he had a breakdown and asked him to tow him from Ext 17.

Police said on his arrival the deceased allegedly noticed a group of boys running away from the vehicle that had a breakdown.

“While assisting the friend, a group of men arrived and attacked the deceased and stole his car,” said Capt Nkosi of eMbalenhle Police Station.

He was rushed to Evander  Hospital where he later died.

His vehicle was recovered the next morning with minor damages and a missing radio.
