Alleged hammer murderer’s case postponed
The so-called hammer murderer arrived in court walking with crutches.
SECUNDA – The so-called hammer murderer, Mr Adam Muller, reappeared in the Secunda Magistrate’s Court today on crutches.
He was charged with two murders and three attempted murders after he attacked five people in the Secunda CBD on 17 April with a hammer.
Two of the victims died in hospital and three suffered serious injuries.
His case was postponed to allow him to go for psychiatric evaluation at the Weskoppies Hospital.
The case was again postponed to 27 October because he has not yet gone for this evaluation as the hospital does not have a bed available.
The magistrate requested that the hospital provide reasons as to why there is no progress in getting him a bed.
