Hydra Arc and personnel reach new heights
Hydra Arc receives world business awards.
SECUNDA – The World Confederation of Businesses (Worldcob) came to South Africa this year to present Bizz Awards to the winners and winning company.
The 2015 Bizz awards were held at Skyhill on 20 October during which Hydra Arc received the Recognition of Inspirational Company with all its Rights and Privileges Award.
The Bizz awards are one of the world’s most important business awards.
It gathers and recognises leading businesses from different regions that contribute to the daily growth of their local economy and the world economy.
The awards were created by Worldcob to offer to the global business community a range of benefits that further their development.
Worldcob was founded in 2004 in the city of Houston, Texas, in the United States of America.
Its primary mission is to promote business development worldwide, recognising and boosting the growth of leading businesses and business people in every country through the special tools and services that it offers its members.
It has approximately 3 000 members representing over 100 countries.
Mr José Maciel, chairman of Hydra Arc, received the World Leader Businessperson of the Year Award.
Ms Dianne Maciel, director, received the Recognition of Excellence in Business Leadership Award.
Messrs Mohamed Pahad, director, and Jan Maswanganyi, director, received the Recognition of Excellence in Business Leadership Award.
The Recognition of Excellence in Business Management Award went to Messrs Geo Dunn, general manager, and Vlam van Niekerk.
The Excellence in Quality Management Award was awarded to Messrs Jacek Matyja, quality manager, and Riaan Kruger, quality manager.
Ms Lizelle Maciel, who is new in the marketing business, already received her first award, namely the Recognition of Excellence in Marketing Management.
Hydra Arc hosted a glamorous awards evening at Skyhill during which Mr Nicolas Caffaro from Worldcob from South America presented the awards.
