Man assaulted for allegedly pointing firearm

The attacker then assaulted him and the two other men, he was drinking with, also joined in and hit him.

A man was recently assaulted by a group of men in a tavern in Sakhile.

According to him, he was drinking alcohol with his neighbour and a friend when he got attacked.

He said he went outside and left them inside and an unknown man approached him and accused him of pointing a gun at him.

According to the complainant, the man grabbed him when he was making the accusation.

The attacker then assaulted him and the two other men, he was drinking with, also joined in and hit him.

He said they continued hitting him all over his body without stopping.

“I pretended as if I had fainted so they could leave me alone.”

According to him, they left him lying on the ground.

He said he stood up and went to his house to sleep.

According to him, he did not know why they attacked him.

The Sakhile Police are investigating the case.
