Abomination in Secunda in the spotlight
“I am not a paragon of morality, a prophet of doom, nor here to judge,” says author of new book.
SECUNDA – Women can do anything for money, according to Mr Sonny Sekwakwa who recently published his book Abomination in Secunda.
He said he wrote the book to warn people who have money, especially money from severance packages, to use it properly.
Mr Sekwakwa said when they get the money, they buy expensive cars and designer clothes.
“They even buy a finer whisky.
“The question is, how long will that money last?
“This book seeks to advise people not to show off that they have money, because there are gluttons and scavengers out who are hungry for your money.
“There are people who got more than a million rand in retirement packages and they have new women and concubines.”
This book is about a man called Mokone who was given early retirement due to ill-health.
He received about R300 000 and used it within three weeks.
What happened next? He was fit and ready for the grave.
“My book is a wake-up call,” said Mr Sekwakwa.
“I am not a paragon of morality, a prophet of doom, nor here to judge.
“But let us face reality, there are people who got more than a million rand in retirement packages, but it has all been spent.
“Where there is lot of money, criminal acts increase.”
He said people are obsessed with money and can do horrible things to get it.
