Sanco members appear in court again

The case was postponed to 14 January next year for further investigation

Three South African National Civic Organisation (Sanco) members appeared in the Standerton Magistrate’s Court for the second time on 1 December.

The case was postponed to 14 January next year for further investigation.

A man opened a case of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm against Messrs Matsimela Moloi, Madoda Sigasa and Sibusiso Mbokane.

The complainant alleged that the three attacked him when a group of people wearing ANC T-shirts disrupted a community meeting on 3 November.

The suspects were arrested on 5 November and detained for a couple of hours. They were released on the same day after paying R400 bail each.

The Sakhile Police are investigating the case.
