Two boys, aged 14 years, recently stole a cell phone in Sakhile.
According to the Community Policing Forum (CPF), the boys sold the phone for R200.
The CPF said one of the boys stole his aunt’s cell phone.
The boy, who stole the phone, was with his friend when selling it to a taxi driver.
According to the CPF, they charged the taxi driver R1 000, but he only gave them R200.
The CPF recovered the stolen phone and took it back to the owner.
Mr Charles Msibi of the CPF said the boys were not arrested because they are minors.
The CPF urged the community to take a stand against illegal substances.
