The Standerton Police disposed of alcohol in a drain at the back of the station on 4 February.
This is all the confiscated alcohol from taverns trading without liquor licences.
According to Lt Fanie Nhlabathi, communications officer of the Standerton Police, the cases are finalised.
He said they took the alcohol as evidence for the cases they were investigating, but do not have use for it anymore.
Lt Nhlabathi also said permission was granted in the form of a court order to get rid of the liquor.
“We also want to show the community that we do not drink it, but dispose of it when the case is finalised.”
