The Community Policing Forum (CPF) apprehended a suspect who attempted to steal from a vehicle parked next to the Post Office on 1 March.
According to them, the security guard saw him.
The suspect fled the scene and made his way towards the Standerton Taxi Rank.
The CPF members, who were patrolling in town, ran after him.
They caught him at the taxi rank and brought him back to the Post Office.
