Mr Yandisa Marongo’s murder case was postponed to 26 April.
This high profile case will move to the High Court and the date will be granted at the next hearing.
The suspect that was arrested in June last year appeared in the Standerton Magistrate’s Court on 7 March.
The late Mr Marongo was the suspended Senior Legal Manager at the Lekwa Municipality.
