The Sakhile Police apprehended an alleged drug dealer in Sakhile on 9 March.
The police received a tip-off about a man selling illegal substances.
They went to the address and asked to search the place upon arrival.
They searched the man and then began searching the house.
They found seven small plastic bags with heroin.
According to them, the substance weighed 13,1 grams.
When he was questioned about it, he said he smokes it.
The police searched the house and found dagga that the suspect said he uses to poison rats in his house.
According to the police, the dagga weighed 54,9 grams.
They also found R130 and a plastic bag full of coins, valued at R1 030.
The suspect was arrested and taken to the Sakhile Police Station.
A case of dealing in drugs was opened.
