The Community Policing Forum (CPF) apprehended a man who broke into a house and stole goods in Sakhile.
The complainant notified the CPF after the incident occurred on 11 March.
The thief stole a car wheel with a rim and a grinder.
He sold the goods to a taxi driver for an undisclosed amount of money. The CPF apprehended the suspect at the Standerton Taxi Rank and managed to recover the stolen property.
The suspect was handed over to the Sakhile Police. He was arrested and a case of housebreaking and theft has been opened. The Sakhile Police are investigating the case.
