Plasma television stolen

The complainant and her daughter realised that a window in one of the bedrooms was forced open and the handle was damaged.

A plasma television worth R5 000 was recently stolen during a housebreaking in Sakhile.

The complainant said she heard a knock at the door while in bed and went to the door.

She said it was her daughter knocking at the door and she opened the locked door for her.

After opening the door the complainant went back to sleep.

A few minutes later her daughter called her into the lounge and she discovered that the television was missing.

The complainant and her daughter realised that a window in one of the bedrooms was forced open and the handle was damaged.

As the result the complainant believes that the thieves gained entry through the window.

She reported the theft to the Sakhile Police and Const Bafana Mkhabela of the Sakhile Detectives is investigating the case.
