Motorists and pedestrians disregard traffic signs

The vehicles stop in areas where they are not supposed to.

Motorists have raised concerns about taxis that park in Nelson Mandela Drive towards Meyerville to pick up passengers going to Vrede.

They are also unhappy about the vehicles that stop in areas where they are not supposed to and pick up hitchhikers.

The same thing is also happening in Baumann Street where minibuses and other vehicles park next to the road picking up hitchhikers going to Morgenzon and Ermelo.

These motorists disregard the no stopping signs and pull over.

According to drivers, this practice is disturbing traffic and might cause accidents.
