A man sustained serious injuries after another man, known to him, attacked him recently.
According to the complainant, he does not know why the man assaulted him.
He said he was sleeping in his bedroom when the attacker stormed in and hit him.
The complainant said the attacker hit him with a rock on his mouth and chest.
According to him, the assailant stabbed him on his right hand when he tried to grab him.
After stabbing him, the attacker left.
The complainant reported the assault to the police.
They called an ambulance and it took him to the Standerton Hospital.
The Sakhile Police are investigating the case.
