The K-9 Unit seized a large number of illegal substances in Ext 6 on 22 April.
According to Lt Fanie Nhlabathi, communications officer of the Standerton Police, they received a tip-off from the community.
They found 570 mandrax tablets with a street value of R100 each.
The police seized a bag with 30 pokes of dagga weighing 521.9 grams.

They also found four more bags and two refuse bags, wrapped with sellotape, also containing dagga.
R300 was also discovered and confiscated.
Three men were arrested and a case of dealing in drugs has been opened.
The Standerton Police are investigating the case.
